Vermont Juvenile cited with marijuana possessionMANCHESTER, VERMONT-- Police cited a youth recently for possession of marijuana at the Lye Brook wilderness access parking lot off Routes 11 and 30 near the village of Manchester Depot in Vermont.
Charles A. Douglas, 17, of Manchester, Vermont was parked at the site with a car full of young adults on June 9, according to Ptl. Casey J. Daniell of the Manchester Police Department.
Douglas consented to a search of the vehicle, in which a marijuana pipe and 4.5 grams marijuana were found, police said. Douglas admitted the items were his and was arrested, cited to appear in court and released, according to police.
In separate incidents that weren't related to Douglas or his citation, the Lye Brook parking lot has recently been the scene of vandalism and several vehicle break-ins.
